Good Faith Estimate Notice

Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Payment and Fees

The topic of payment, fees, and insurance can be complicated and confusing. Please read the information below and then feel free to contact us with questions or concerns you may have.

We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna and UnitedHealthCare.  We make every effort to accommodate our clients as our main goal is to provide services when they are needed.

Payment is coordinated through our client portal.  We submit your claims for you and ask for credit card to be on file for co-pays.  Our billing department will send invoices and is available to assist.

Please contact your insurance company for information about your co-pays and deductibles that need to be met. Most plans cover mental health services.

Cancellation Fee

Therapy sessions are scheduled in advance and are a time reserved exclusively for our patients. When a session is canceled without adequate notice, we are unable to fill this time slot by offering it to another current patient, a patient on the waitlist, or a patient with a clinical emergency. A $75 fee will be charged for a missed or late canceled appointment without giving 24 hours advance notice.
